Hello,
Simplofi is a photography project created by Abban Dunne & Tomasz Bereska. We were sick of the focus on the technical aspect of photography & wanted a place to put pictures that focus purely on the subject of the photo rather than how well it was exposed or how much money we spend on our fancy pants cameras. Dieter Rams 10th principle of design says:
Good design is as little design as possible.
Taking inspiration from that we want to create a place where good photography is as simple photography as possible & the best camera is the camera you have with you.
We’re thinking of this as a new style of lo-fi photography, if you check out the Wikipedia page for it you can see it says lo-fi photography is with lomos or pin hole cameras or simple film based fellows. We believe even that is too technical for us so everything we put on here is simply taken on a phone camera.
